The Sterling Women Development Program is an initiative of the Bloom Network in collaboration with the Talent Management team, that provides a platform to groom exceptional female talents with the requisite skill and competencies to take on senior management roles up to the Board level. The maiden edition of the program which started in September 2021, comprised of a four-day intensive training anchored by PWR advisory as well as job shadowing of Executive Directors, General Managers of the bank by participants to develop competencies to become potential successors. Twenty-four (24) female talents from different groups across the Bank were selected to participate in this edition, which lasted for six months and included leadership and professional certifications.
Asides from the SWDP programme, we also enrolled 32 female employees on several leadership programmes.
